Tropical Storm Preparations Interrupted

While conducting a tropical storm preparation meeting this evening we were alerted for a reported sailing vessel in distress located in the area of Back River. MU268 along with MU269, Boat 216, Squad 262, Engine 263 and Engine 9 responded. Early reports from DNR stated the vessel was located off of Chesapeake Ave behind Sparrows Point High School. After relocating, Squad 262 observed a sail boat who appeared to be in distress off the rock jetty of North Point State Park. MU269, made contact with the occupants of the vessel who reported a previous issue with their sail but we're no longer in distress.
